HM Apprenticeship Program

Hospitality, one of the largest industries in Maine, along with the businesses that support it need a reliable talent supply chain and next generation leaders. The HospitalityMaine Apprenticeship program, is a proven workforce method that can strengthen and professionalize the hotel and restaurant workforce in Maine.

Enrolled apprentices will EARN while they learn, being taught and coached by experienced professionals at hospitality businesses committed to their success. Credit can be given for documented prior experience and education. Apprentice receive incremental wage increases as they reach training milestones. Upon successful completion, an apprentice will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Maine Department of Labor as well as any industry recognized credentials earned along the way.

HospitalityMaine currently has two primary career tracks ranging from entry level to managerial level and can create customized programs as needed to support member business need. Below is the list of available programs and the average pay for the state of Maine:
