Off the beaten path, but worth the trip. Deer Isle is Maine's second largest island, located in Penobscot Bay, where evergreen forests give way to sweeping views of the Maine coast. Historic Pilgrim's Inn offers the very best of Maine coastal lodging. All rooms in our 1793 building have water views, of either the Mill Pond which borders the property or the Northwest Harbor just across the street. There are 12 rooms in the main inn, and 3 cottages. Relax. Explore. Restore. This is a place where you spend time in nature, recharge, and get away from it all. A full breakfast, served in our rustic barn with a view, is included in room rate. Spend your day hiking, boating, bird watching, or just lounging in an Adirondack chair on the spacious lawn. We are happy to help you plan your adventures. Enjoy a drink in the bar, or outside on the deck. We have a full bar, diverse wine list, and feature Maine beers. Be sure to ask about our house-made ice cream! Pilgrim's Inn is open mid-May to mid-October. Cottages are open earlier/later at a discounted rate excluding breakfast.
